Marianne Stowell is an extremely dedicated and hard working banker. She is known to be supportive and always willing to help. She serves as treasurer of HEDCO, and a member of the Loan Committee, member of the MBRLF Loan Committee and the Advisory Board for the Partnership Loan, in addition to being the liaison to the banking foundation to provide HEDCO support.
She has been in banking for her entire career of 30 years. At Berkshire, asa First Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager she has always been involved with the community she works in by volunteering with Economic Development companies. She has been working with HEDCO for the last 6 years after joining Berkshire Bank, and prior to that she was heavily involved with CEDF at various board functions for 10 of her 13 years at Citizens bank.
In addition to her role at Berkshire for the past 7 years, she has also been involved with the Berkshire Bank Foundation in terms of identifying and maintaining levels of support in the local community. The bank is working to improve and expand their ability to help and provide services to the under-served communities. She has worked with internal partners and some not-for-profit clients to identify needs and try to work towards solutions to make banking services available to more people.
Marianne, a graduate of Westfield State University with a degree in Business/Finance, is always there to provide assistance, and looking for opportunities to help the community.
