Randolph, Vermont Banker Surprised by Unexpected Buck
March 4, 2020
A Vermont banker picked an opportune time to take a break. A deer smashed through an office window of a Bar Harbor Bank and Trust branch in downtown Randolph, Vermont.
A bank worker told New England Cable News a deer smashed through a back-office window that fortunately was empty at the time. She speculated reflections from the window may have caused the deer, seen in video she shot, to think it was jumping into the woods, and not someone’s office.
“That’s a first for me,” said Daniel Murray, an employee of New Hampshire’s Claremont Glassworks, Inc., which was called in to replace the shattered panes. “We were kind of in the middle of [another] job, and somebody told me a deer jumped through the window. I’m like, “You’ve got to be kidding me, right?’”
The Bottom Line
Most financial institutions have tremendous excess capacity in their existing branches today.
