No Maine Cases Yet But Bank Stands Ready
March 10, 2020
According to the Centers for Disease Control, Maine, as of March 10, has no reported cases of coronavirus. That doesn’t mean banks and credit unions aren’t taking preventative steps.
Bangor TV station TV5 reports Bangor Savings Bank is attacking the virus before it grabs a toehold. According to the station, employees and cleaning crews are doing extra cleaning and washing their hands as often as possible and they're ready if it gets worse.
"We are always prepared for these situations. We have a dedicated team lead by a very knowledgeable director who focuses on disaster recovery and pandemics, those types of things," said Andrew Grover, Chief Risk Officer of Bangor Savings Bank. Watch The Report
